There are a few types of hardscape that you can apply in your design.
arches
  • As a main entrance for a particular space.
  • As a symbol of hardscape of particular design.

bollards
  • Designed to segregate and delineate the landscape.
  • To prevent the passage of vehicles.
 bridge
  • To connect between two different spaces.
  • To provide an aesthetic value.


 garden light
  • Various types of lighting can be found in particular garden, depends on the design.
  • To illuminate dark and insecure areas.
  • To show effects of light on the garden during the night time.


garden seating or tables
  • As landscape furniture.
  • To provide a rest spot.
pergola
  • As a shading device.
  • Can be used as a roof along the walkway.

signage
  • To show a clear direction.
  • To display of information on particular area.
  • Clarity of communication.
water feature
  • Aesthetic pleasure and relaxation.

WHAT IS HARDSCAPES ?
• Man made elements or structure that are combine with softscape.
 To design & built which to fulfill the functions & aesthetic in landscape design.

 To provide complimentary effect.
1.1  F U N C T I O N S
To provide a safe, hard-wearing low maintenance surface for passage of vehicles or pedestrians.
  To indicate routes.
  To indicate use priority – pedestrians or cars or bicycles and act as deterrents to others.
  To draw attention to junctions between use and by way of warning of possible hazards – edges to footpaths, water embankments, steps and ramps.
  To pave static – use areas.
